THE NORTH FACE Purple Label / Textile Design by NOMA t.d.
The capsule collection, featuring artwork by NOMA t.d., adds a touch of elegance to THE NORTH FACE Purple Label’s 2025 Spring & Summer collection. Based on the iconic hand-drawn flower motifs by NOMA t.d., two textiles were created to reflect their distinctive style.
“FLORAL CAMOUFLAGE” expresses small floral patterns in urban monochrome colors, while “FLORAL PATCHWORK” combines various flower patterns in a patchwork design with purple accents.
This is a summer lineup incorporating unique and one-of-a-kind textiles into THE NORTH FACE Purple Label’s archive designs. The two completely different flower patterns enhance the collection.

About NOMA t.d.
Started in 2005 by Masako Noguchi and Takuma Sasaki, NOMA t.d. creates contemporary collections that combine unique hand-drawn textiles with traditional techniques encountered in Japan and abroad, adding a new perspective. Their design studio also produces products derived from textiles, such as furniture and objects. Additionally, they curate numerous exhibitions of photographers and painters, and publish art books.
Short sleeve pullover made with high-density nylon taffeta fabric. Despite being 100% nylon, it has a cotton-like, natural texture. To maintain a comfortable temperature inside the garment, mesh ventilation is placed under the arms. A drawcord is attached at the hem to prevent fluttering. It features an oversized silhouette with relaxed body and shoulder widths.
A tiered skirt printed with two patterns: one with bold patchwork of large flowers and designs, and the other with a camouflage pattern made up of small flowers. It is made of the same nylon taffeta fabric used for the pullover. The waistband features elastic shirring and a drawcord with a stopper for size adjustment. A mobile pocket is placed on the right hip using the seam. The skirt has a longer length, and is a more relaxed fit compared to the standard model.
A short-sleeve pocket T-shirt with design changes between the sleeves and body. The body is made from 13.5oz organic cotton jersey, while the sleeves and front pocket are made from high-density nylon taffeta with prints. The pocket features the THE NORTH FACE logo embroidery. It has an oversized fit for a relaxed look.
A wrap bag with artwork featuring flowers as the motif, printed by NOMA t.d., selected from THE NORTH FACE Purple Label’s archive. The bag features two patterns: one with bold patchwork of large and small flowers, and another with a camouflage pattern of small flowers. The drawcord attached to the body adjusts the size of the bag and can also hold shirts or other items in place.
A tote bag made with high-density nylon taffeta material. The front and both sides of the bag feature artwork by NOMA t.d. with a flower motif. It has a two-way design for shoulder carry or hand carry, along with a simple inner pocket. The gusset at the bottom increases the bag’s storage capacity.
