Nanamica will release socks specially ordered from FAB.IT, a sock brand committed to Japanese-made manufacturing.
The base model is FAB.IT’s classic “Chuck.” Drawing on a design rooted in American workwear and incorporating medical and sports-sock technology, this pair pursues an exceptionally comfortable fit.
A key feature is the non-binding construction that minimizes tightness. With a soft, gauze-like feel and a special loosely knit structure, pressure is reduced so it’s designed to feel less stressful even after long hours of wear. The sole has a moderate thickness to lessen strain while walking. It pairs well with work boots and leather shoes, offering comfortable wear across a wide range of situations—from everyday use to travel.
For this special order, the yarn composition has been updated to Nanamica’s original specification. Instead of the conventional blend of cotton, nylon, and polyurethane, it uses a yarn that blends cotton with recycled silk. While retaining FAB.IT’s distinctive airy, plush knit, it improves moisture absorption and breathability for a comfortable feel that resists stuffiness. It also offers the moderate warmth unique to silk, making it well-balanced and easy to wear year-round.
Another appeal is its practicality for everyday wear without hesitation, along with an accessible price point. It’s a pair that balances design and function and naturally fits into daily life.
