nanamica KYOTO 1st Anniversary
nanamica KYOTO marks its first anniversary this spring.
We sincerely thank everyone who has visited the store since opening. In a city like Kyoto, rich in seasonal beauty and traditional character, we hope nanamica will continue to take root. With gratitude for this first year, we have prepared anniversary items and gifts.
To mark the first anniversary, nanamica KYOTO is releasing a souvenir collection. We commissioned Kyoto-based artist Ryu Mieno to create new artwork, applied to a graphic T-shirt and cap.
The “nanamica KYOTO” lettering created by Mieno carries a tactile, textural quality. Combined with the sea-inspired artwork he created for the store’s opening, it completes the souvenir collection.
The motif is a whale. Its calm, unhurried movement through the ocean echoes nanamica’s “One Ocean, All Lands” philosophy.
During the promotion period, customers who make a purchase will receive a folding fan made from thinned cedar wood. It’s an item designed for easy, everyday use.

On Saturday, April 25, we will also be offering food and drinks by Kashihate, a café near Ginkakuji, as a token of our appreciation.
