THE NORTH FACE Purple Label 22026 Spring Summer collection has arrived.

2026.01.16

THE NORTH FACE Purple Label 2025 Fall & Winter collection items are available in stores.

Continuing from the previous season, THE NORTH FACE Purple Label’s 2025 Fall & Winter season focuses on the concept of "urban outdoor wear," proposing a lifestyle that embraces nature within city living. The collection’s theme remains "The Mountain Ivy."

This collection updates THE NORTH FACE’s masterpieces that have been created with the changing times as street wear. The styling theme is urban heavy duty Ivy style with a mix of American culture and Ivy style.

Under the slogan UR“FUN” OUTDOOR LIFE (URBAN OUTDOOR LIFE + FUN), the brand will provide support for everyday living through three categories.

65/35 Mountain Parka [N25SA086] ¥49,500 tax included

The color palette continues to be built around the brand’s signature Asphalt Gray. This refined, urban gray is complemented throughout the collection with vivid tones like blue and red. For the classic outdoor items, colors like Light Sage—evoking the feeling of spring’s first buds—and a modern Light Gray are used as subtle accents.

PLAS Field Down Jacket [N26SA001] ¥46,200 tax included

Field Day Pack [N25FU074] ¥ 25,080tax included

This season, THE NORTH FACE Purple Label takes on the challenge of expressing a new outdoor style by blending its core identity—classic outdoor wear—with design and color inspirations from THE NORTH FACE in the 1990s. To better respond to the environmental and climatic shifts of urban life, each piece has been carefully crafted with thoughtful detail, incorporating nuanced treatments like garment dyeing and uneven dyeing techniques. In response to the ever-changing global environment, the collection embraces the words of Buckminster Fuller: “Do more, with less.” With this mindset, we’ve designed new bottoms and bags using a primitive approach—minimizing the use of petroleum-based materials wherever possible.

Category1. ASPHALT & GREEN RECORD

This is a category of wear that supports a lifestyle centered around enjoying and recording nature in everyday life. It features items with strong messaging and designs layered with the nostalgic feeling of old-fashioned America.

Synthetic Leather Mountain Wind Parka [N26SA005] ¥88,000 tax included

PLAS Field Down Jacket [N26SA001] ¥46,200 tax included

Flannel Plaid Field Shirt[N26SG011] \24,200 tax included

At the start of the season, we propose the unique layering system PLAS (Purple Layer Access System), developed to accommodate the diverse situations and climates of urban life, through early spring pieces.

One such combination features a field parka made from organic cotton indigo duck cloth layered with a down jacket, characterized by a compact stand collar and the iconic stitching of THE NORTH FACE’s Light Heat Jacket. This “Spring PLAS” style pairs the rugged, indigo-dyed natural texture of duck cloth with an ultra-lightweight down layer made from 7-denier recycled nylon ripstop. The result is a fresh take on layering—one that blends the natural appeal of raw materials with THE NORTH FACE’s advanced technology.

PLAS Indigo Field Parka [N26SA002] ¥46,200 tax included

PLAS Field Down Jacket [N26SA001] ¥46,200 tax included

Returning from the previous season, the soutien collar coat has been reimagined in a high-density weather cloth made from recycled nylon and organic cotton. Despite its tightly woven structure, the fabric offers a soft, smooth hand, and the coat is cut into a beautifully flowing A-line silhouette. A timeless staple in casual style, the soutien collar coat is layered here with a stand-collar field jacket crafted from the same material. This inner piece draws inspiration from THE NORTH FACE’s iconic 1990s Mountain Light Jacket and is updated with a refined tonal design using both the high-density weather cloth and recycled nylon taffeta. Complete the look with a reversible tote in a vivid color, and you have the essence of “The Mountain Ivy” — a fresh interpretation of classic outdoor style, infused with an elevated street sensibility.

Brushed Weather Field Soutien Collar Coat [N26SB017] ¥59,400 tax included

Brushed Weather Mountain Wind Jacket [N26SA018] ¥39,600 tax included

Category2. TRIP IN THE WIND

This is the category of wear that supports comfortable travel styles, making transportation and long journeys more comfortable. It includes lightweight and compact garments that can adapt to sudden changes in weather conditions, as well as utility items that are convenient to bring along on travels.

Alongside the classic Mountain Wind Parka, made from 50-denier PERTEX® QUANTUM recycled polyester ripstop with both durability and water repellency, a new lightweight cardigan jacket is being introduced. At first glance, the design appears simple—but it’s the pocket configuration that gives this piece its distinct identity within the category. On the right, there’s a generously sized organizer pocket with ample storage space. On the left interior, you’ll find a packable pocket, allowing the entire jacket to be folded down compactly for easy carrying. This cardigan-style jacket, easy to put on and take off, lets you move freely while keeping your essentials close. It’s a versatile travel companion, ready to adapt to sudden shifts in weather— an ideal addition to a collection designed to support light, effortless journeys.

PERTEX QUANTUM Mountain Wind Cardigan [N26SA054] ¥ 29,700 tax included

Category3. PURPLE BASE

The foundation of THE NORTH FACE Purple Label, the PURPLE BASE, is seasonless and ageless. It features neutral designs made from environmentally conscious materials, functional patterns, and durable, meticulously crafted sewing. These clothes are comfortable to wear anytime by anyone. It is a category built around the classic outdoor designs that the brand values.

As a functional signature item in this category, the lineup includes pieces made with waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX fabric. A new addition this season is the deck jacket, which combines environmental consciousness with high performance. It features a two-layer ePE GORE-TEX fabric with a non-fluorinated waterproof breathable membrane and water-repellent treatment, while the outer shell uses 70-denier recycled nylon poplin. Details include a concealed front placket, side adjusters that block drafts from below while allowing for silhouette adjustments, and inner cuffs at the sleeves—all thoughtfully designed to provide maximum utility with minimal elements for life in the city—and will be released as outdoor wear built to function in an urban environment.

GORE-TEX Field Jacket [N26SA056] ¥88,000 tax included

The 2026 Spring & Summer season catalog has arrived in stores.
The cover art was created by Haruna Mitobe, the artist for this season’s FFFES (For, Feel, Find Endangered Species) collection.
Her unique and free-spirited interpretation of the “Earth” sparks anticipation for the brand’s new season ahead.

For the 2026 Spring & Summer season, THE NORTH FACE Purple Label revisits the brand’s origins, embracing a design philosophy that fuses craft sensibility with technical innovation. The collection draws inspiration from the brand’s founding era in California—specifically the Yosemite movement—layered with modern high-performance functionality to express a fresh outdoor style. Urban asphalt gray serves as the foundation of the color palette, interspersed with vivid blues and reds that evoke THE NORTH FACE of the 1990s, making the gray tones stand out even more. We’ve pushed the expressive boundaries of synthetic materials through product-dyeing techniques that produce natural tonal variations and depth, along with irregular dyeing treatments that yield one-of-a-kind textures. These approaches give rise to a refined interpretation of classic outdoor garments, paving the way for a new wave of “tech nostalgia.” The collection also includes new proposals in cut-and-sew items, as well as designs that minimize the use of petroleum-derived materials—reflecting our commitment to balancing fashion with the urgent need to respond to a changing global environment.

We hope you enjoy these pieces, where classic and modern elements harmoniously coexist in true THE NORTH FACE Purple Label style.
