メンズライクなアイテムやスタイリングが好きで、はじめて買ったnanamicaの洋服もそういえばメンズサイズのパンツでした。
以前nanamicaでも取り扱いのあったQUILP（その時はシューズだったけど）のひさしぶりの入荷。ずっと着てみたかったブランドのひとつに心がときめきました。

QUILPは、「モード」と「アルチザン」のミックスがテーマになっているブランド。
このショートパンツも、40年代頃のリネンの表情をイメージし更に洗いをかけたヴィンテージライクな質感や、ベースになったUSオーバーパンツの特徴が自分好みで、すぐに購入してしまったのでした。

40歳を目前に自分の服装や見た目も変化してきました。色々なスタイルに挑戦してきたけど、なんとなく敬遠していたショートパンツなどのアイテムも自分らしく着れる気がします。
色んなアイテムと組み合わせて、私らしいスタイリングを見つけたいです。

I’ve always loved menswear-inspired pieces and styling, and now that I think about it, the very first item I bought from QUILP was also a pair of men’s-sized pants.
QUILP has finally arrived again after quite a long time. (Back then, it was their shoes that were available.) It’s a brand I’ve always wanted to wear, so seeing these pieces in person genuinely excited me.
QUILP is a brand built around the mix of “mode” and “artisan.”
These shorts especially caught my eye with their vintage-like texture, inspired by 1940s linen fabrics and finished with an extra washed feel. I also loved the details taken from classic US overpants, so I ended up buying them almost immediately.
As I approach 40, I can feel my style and even the way I see myself gradually changing. I’ve tried many different looks over the years, and now even pieces I once avoided — like shorts — somehow feel natural and true to me.
I want to keep mixing different items together and continue finding a style that feels uniquely mine.
