The standout feature of THE NORTH FACE Purple Label 2024 Fall & Winter collection is the packaging adorned with artwork specially commissioned to "NOMA t.d.".
A capsule collection featuring artwork by NOMA t.d. "LANDSCAPE" is a hand-drawn landscape work of mountain ridges and forests, and "WANDERER PAISLEY" is a paisley flower motif, two types of artwork that express a contemporary manner with a unique wit. It has been incorporated into the brand’s standard items such as polyester taffeta zip up jacket, T-shirts, sweatshirts, and bags. Both designs showcase the brand’s signature purple color palette, adding a touch of creativity to the collection. This lineup is designed to complement your outfits and elevate your style effortlessly.

About NOMA t.d.
Started in 2005 by Masako Noguchi and Takuma Sasaki, NOMA t.d. creates contemporary collections that combine unique hand-drawn textiles with traditional techniques encountered in Japan and abroad, adding a new perspective. Their design studio also produces products derived from textiles, such as furniture and objects. Additionally, they curate numerous exhibitions of photographers and painters, and publish art books.
“LANDSCAPE” Product
Mountain wind jacket with recycled polyester taffeta outer fabric. The high-density woven fabric has an elegant sheen and supple texture. It has added functionality with a PFC-free water repellent finish that does not use environmentally conscious fluorine compounds. The coloring features a patchwork pattern of natural scenery and a combination of purple and gray colors that evoke the brand’s image. It is equipped with a stowable hood that can be used in case of sudden rain. It has an oversized silhouette with a roomy body width.
Based on the brand’s standard field hat, this bucket hat is made of recycled polyester taffeta. It is printed with artwork featuring a mountain landscape motif and features 25mm THE NORTH FACE logo embroidery on the front, typical of THE NORTH FACE Purple Label. The inner side portions are made of mesh material, with ventilation on the rear side to reduce steam. The backside of the sweatband has a hook and loop fastener for adjustable fit.
This sweatshirt pullover hoodie is made of USA cotton 10oz inlay-lined fabric, featuring the unique feel of USA cotton fabric, and product dyed to express the color and texture of a well-worn sweatshirt. The boldly printed artwork of a mountain landscape motif on the front is an eye-catching piece of clothing. The 25mm THE NORTH FACE logo embroidery on the left chest is designed to coexist with the artwork. It has an oversized fit with ribbed design under the sleeves for ease of movement and a relaxed fit.
THE NORTH FACE Purple Label standard short sleeve T-shirt made of USA cotton 7oz jersey. It features the unique feel of USA cotton fabric and a tube body with no seams on the sides for comfortable wearing experience. The design features artwork featuring a mountain landscape motif on the front and THE NORTH FACE logo embroidery on the left chest. The collar is an oversized fit with a binder design that prevents the ribs from falling out.
“WANDERER PAISLEY” Product
The Stroll Tote Bag is based on the brand’s standard accessories and is made of recycled polyester oxford in a paisley pattern. It is based on THE NORTH FACE Day Bag released in the 80’s, but rearranged into a tote bag. The bag can also be used as a shoulder bag by attaching a cord strap in a mix of purple colors that evoke the brand’s image. It is equipped with a mesh padded pocket on the inside to soften impact.
Shoulder bag made of recycled polyester oxford and printed with artwork featuring floral and paisley patterns. It is based on an updated outdoor chalk bag and has a detachable cord strap in a mix of brand-inspired purple colors. If the strap is removed, the bag can be used as an inner bag. The name “Stroll” comes from the idea of enjoying nature in the city and walking in the city at will.
This utility case consists of a shoulder bag printed with floral and paisley motif artwork and a purple-colored pouch reminiscent of THE NORTH FACE Purple Label. Based on THE NORTH FACE’s day bag released in the 80’s, it is arranged as a utility case. Purple colored cord strap is detachable. Conveniently sized for storing gadgets such as cameras, mobile chargers, and other gadgets. A mesh pad is provided inside the mini pouch for storing small items such as earphone case, keys, etc. to soften the impact.
