In celebration of Mountain Day, nanamica will release the new nanamica MOUNTAIN souvenir collection and host a pop-up for sustainable wood products by "TIMBER CREW PRODUCTS."
nanamica MOUNTAIN is one of three nanamica stores located in the Daikanyama area, promoting the unique urban outdoor lifestyle that connects urban dwellers with nature.
Here’s an introduction to the new YAMA Souvenir Collection.
The collection features graphic designs of the character "山" (mountain) by artist Ryu Mieno, symbolizing the nanamica MOUNTAIN souvenirs. Among the two mountain character graphics, three items using the "smaller mountain" design will be released. The lineup includes a short-sleeve shirt jacket that can be casually worn over T-shirts and cut-and-sew items, relaxed silhouette easy pants, and a reversible hat that is easy to style.
The material used is a double-face twill made of organic cotton and wool, which takes advantage of the natural texture unique to these natural fibers. The product incorporates a comfortable sense of air between the wearer and the garment, a relaxed mood, and the Japanese "Kinagashi" (casual drape) sensibility.
Next, in line with the release of the souvenir collection, here’s a topic to elevate Mountain Day at nanamica MOUNTAIN. A limited-time pop-up will be held for the brand "TIMBER CREW PRODUCTS," produced by the up-and-coming building material manufacturer "TIMBER CREW," known for maximizing the appeal of wood through their specialized processing techniques.
Products that have been reborn into strong and beautiful items by utilizing scrap wood and offcuts generated during the manufacturing of building materials, as well as tree stumps and logs that retain their natural shape. These one-of-a-kind items, such as bowls, cutting boards, and stools, showcase the unique character of the materials. Enjoy these pieces that embody the natural beauty and individuality of the wood.
Additionally, during the event, customers who purchase TIMBER CREW PRODUCTS items will receive a special *Hiba* wood chip gift, made from offcuts generated during the manufacturing process.
