The "TRIP IN THE WIND" category offers items that comfortably support travel styles. A new lightweight backpack with large capacity is released from the package using the classic polyester wool ripstop.
Among the relatively compact-sized accessories lineup, we have created a long-awaited large-capacity backpack. Based on the large inner frame pack MORAINE made by THE NORTH FACE in the 1980s, it has been updated with great attention to detail.
The original ripstop material uses recycled polyester for the warp threads and a blend of polyester wool for the weft threads. The surface is treated with PFC-free water-repellent processing that does not use environmentally harmful fluorinated compounds, adding functionality to cope with sudden weather changes. The color palette includes olive, midnight navy, and black.
The distinctive front pocket, which is the face of the backpack, has a three-dimensional finish, enhanced by the glossy fabric texture. The purple name label, a hallmark of the brand, serves as a design point.
Imagined for travel styles of about two to three nights, it is equipped with ample pockets on the front and both sides. The front pocket features convenient pockets for organizing small items, allowing detailed storage of books, cameras, mobile chargers, and more. The side pockets include a stopper-equipped elastic shirring design for easy adjustment of the opening size and a dot button design for easy access to IC card cases and smartphones, providing detailed features suitable for various uses on each side.
Additionally, the bottom is equipped with a compartment for storing shoes or sandals, catering to the needs of changing footwear styling according to the scene and mood at the travel destination.
The main compartment is designed for simple access, opening and closing by tightening the mouth. The inside reveals a label symbolizing this category. With a capacity of 34L, it is the largest among the brand’s released bag collections. The shoulder straps use satin nylon tape, balancing visual impact with lightweight specifications. The top handle is convenient for holding the bag when not worn on the back.
While maintaining a classic look, it incorporates high storage capacity and detailed pocket design, updated in a manner characteristic of THE NORTH FACE Purple Label. Despite its gear-like form, it is lightweight and easy to handle, achieving a perfect balance. Please take note of this new backpack added as an accessory in the TRIP IN THE WIND lineup, which pursues convenience in organizing, storing, and carrying luggage.
