Clothes for Sea Lovers

When people talk about the sea, they often imagine the blue skies and white sandy beaches of summer. However, those who love the sea often visit it regardless of the season, and many dream of living by the seaside. I’m one of those people. The image of the sea in autumn or winter is quite different from the one of blue skies and white sandy beaches, but the sea always reminds us of the heartbeat of the Earth and the fact that both it and ourselves are living beings.

While nanamica’s clothing is neither strictly marine wear nor outdoor wear, it is designed with sea lovers in mind. Of course, nanamica is based on the comfort offered by highperformance materials such as GORE-TEX and KODENSHI® down, but there is always the promise of clothing that would be good to wear by the sea, for example, garments featuring materials with a slightly dry texture that feels pleasant even when exposed to the damp sea breeze, tough specifications with double or triple stitching using slightly thicker yarns, and collars that cover a bit higher up from the neck to just below the chin.

Of course, clothes have to look good, but I’d be happy if it evokes a sense of empathy in people wearing them and makes them feel good.
