nanamica MOUNTAIN store exclusive product “GUNG HO YAMA Cargo Pants”
On March 17th (Fri), nanamica is releasing three models of GUNG HO YAMA Cargo Pants at nanamica MOUNTAIN.
As an original store label product of nanamica MOUNTAIN, which specializes in urban heavy duty style, we created exclusive models by request to GUNG HO, the factory brand of “Earl’s Apparel Inc.,” the long-established workwear factory in Texas, USA.
It is a special model with the ruggedness of the American brand and military-style cargo pants design of GUNG HO, finished with embroidery that says YAMA, which represents nanamica MOUNTAIN.
The 3 model lineup is: cotton linen light back satin cargo pants and shorts, and 11oz cotton denim cargo pants.
Ordinary (city) vs Extraordinary (situation out in nature). These cargo pants can be worn by busy urban dwellers in either of these scenes.
The pants are an updated version of the US ARMY field pants, with all 3 models featuring the distinct deigns of pockets on both sides, waist drawcord and hidden stopper detail. Artwork expressing the character “山” (kanji character for “mountain”) by graphic designer Ryu Mieno was placed on the back of the right hem by embroidery in the same color. It is a subtly placed unique artwork representing nanamica MOUNTAIN.
The drawcord on the hem can lessen wind from entering and also enables the silhouette to be adjusted. The silhouette is a wide straight cut with volume in the hip and thighs. These pants are great for relaxed styling in the coming warmer season.
