THE NORTH FACE Purple Label, produced by Nanamica, is releasing two items made with VENTILE® fabric to commemorate the 60th anniversary of THE NORTH FACE.
Building on the concept behind “65/35 Bayhead Cloth”— a ground-breaking functional material in THE NORTH FACE’s history—we’ve developed our original “65/35 VENTILE® Cloth,” woven at a higher density to create a fabric with a texture that blends seamlessly into everyday urban life. Made from yarns blended with 65% polyester and 35% cotton and woven at an exceptionally high density, the fabric offers breathable and windproof performance, while developing a richer texture with wear. The fabric is used for a Mountain Coat and a Field Jacket, both featuring iconic designs, in the classic colors Tan and Steel Blue, selected from THE NORTH FACE archives
VENTILE Mountain Coat and Field Jacket will be available starting Friday, October 9th, 2026, at the Nanamica directly managed stores listed below. Be sure to keep an eye out for these special items created to commemorate the brand’s 60th anniversary.
