nanamica × Yonetomi Exclusive items vol.2
Nanamica releases the second exclusive collaboration piece with Japan’s renowned knitwear manufacturer Yonetomi Seni — a border striped T-shirt.
Based on Yonetomi’s signature “GARMENT DYED BORDER T-SHIRT,” this special edition for nanamica features an added chest pocket and a subtly refined design. Garment dyeing, which takes advantage of the material’s natural qualities, gives the piece a rich, nuanced depth of color and texture.
The jersey fabric is knitted from a blend of two types of cotton and one type of polyester. By taking advantage of the different dyeing properties of each fiber, the result is a colorful micro-stripe pattern with subtle tonal variations.
For this exclusive version, a chest pocket has been added, and the neckline that is striped in the original model has been switched to a solid color. The knitted collar is joined to the jersey body to prevent stretching, creating a clean, minimal look overall. In addition, a new size 5 has been introduced, expanding the range beyond the standard lineup.
The T-shirt comes in two nanamica-original colors: beige and gray. The beige evokes the soft hue of seaside sand, while the gray draws inspiration from the calm, expansive surface of the sea. Both colors capture a sense of the ocean and are designed to blend naturally into everyday wear.
