「New Mountain Parka, Just Like the Spring Sky 」

With a few warmer days lately, I’ve started wanting to reset my mood for spring. Packing away the winter pieces and reaching for lighter outerwear. Sometimes the shift begins with the look. Otherwise, I feel like I might stay stuck in this season forever.

As you can see, this mountain parka feels a little different from the usual. The color is a sax blue with depth, created through an uneven dyeing process. It looks like a hazy blue sky — irresistibly charming. The impression changes depending on how the light hits it, and I find myself stopping in front of the mirror again and again. But that’s not the only thing that sets it apart from the standard 65/35 Mountain Parka. The surface of the recycled nylon taffeta fabric has an ultra-fine brushed finish, invisible to the eye, which gives it a soft texture. Even a few wrinkles add character, so it’s easy to throw on without overthinking it.
The length stays the same, but the body width is a few centimeters wider, giving it a more contemporary balance. The large pockets fit a phone and wallet. The piece of art I picked up at a flea market didn’t quite fit, but most of the things I need when heading out can go in there, so going hands-free works just fine.

On colder, windy days, you can layer a sweatshirt underneath, and once it gets warmer, it works just as well over a T-shirt. There’s nothing wrong with getting a head start on spring.
